Valentin Butucel was born on March 15, 1988 in Chișinău.

He graduated the secondary school in Suruceni village, Ialoveni district in 2004, the School of Arts in the same district (2005) and the „Alexei Mateevici” Pedagogical College in Chișinău, at the Music Training department (2009).

In 2008, he participates at the Romance Singing Festival - Contest „Crizantema de Argint”, where he was awarded the Prize of the Municipality of Târgoviște.

Since 2014, he is a soloist of the Folk Music Orchestra „Folclor”.
